October 16, 2015, Professor Liu Yun, as an invited expert, participated in the International Symposium on Science and Culture in Beijing Miyun. The meeting was held under the context of "Public entrepreneurship, innovation". The meeting was jointly organized by the China Institute for Science and Innovation Strategy and China Institute of Popular Science. Over 10 scholars from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, the United States New York State University, the Indian National Institute of Science Communication and Information resources, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology and other universities and research institutions carried out dialogue and exchanges. More than 200 participants attended the meeting.
