June 8, 2014 to June 13, 2014, hosted by the University of Manchester Business School and Innovation Research Centre, "Manchester International Summer School on Emerging Technologies 2014 (MiSET2014)" was held at the Manchester Business School. A total of 29 doctoral students from 13 countries including U.K., China, the United States, Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Netherlands, Finland, India, Argentina and the Czech Republic as well as professors and experts from world-renowned universities such as the University of Manchester, Georgia Institute of Technology and the Netherlands Delft University, attended the event. Beijing Institute of Technology Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory doctoral students Ma Jing, Ren Jie and Huang Ying were invited to attend the event, and received full funding.
