On the afternoon of March 1, 2013, the 6th session of the 7th Teacher’s Congress, the 6th session of the 12th Staff’s Congress, and the BIT 2013 Working Meeting successfully concluded. In recognition of the strong support of the faculty and staff members, the school presented awards to outstanding faculty and staff representatives and excellent proposals. Zhang XiaoSu was named the "2012 Beijing Institute of Technology Annual Outstanding Faculty and Staff Representatives”. The proposal “Personal income tax planning” submitted by Sun Liyan was awarded the "Beijing Institute of Technology-Fifth Session of the Seventh Teacher’s Congress Excellent Proposals”
